“Courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage, you can't practice any other virtue consistently.” ― Maya Angelou
Thank you to my children, my family, and Madison for believing in me. Thank you for understanding the value of first hand experience as a child and as a parent of Madison’s most disenfranchised, yet resilient communities. We were able to shed light on many issues that face our community.
Thank you to all the voters who were able to vote despite this unprecedented time. Thank you to every person I was able to connect with virtually or in person. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, endorsed, donated, requested a yard sign, spread the word of our campaign, and the list goes on.
Lastly, thank you to my team, who volunteered their time to help run a strong campaign. Who believed and worked with me through adversity. Who no matter what was thrown at us, persisted with grace. I am grateful.
